Submit Photos


Submitting your baby/child/family's photo is a simple process with a few guidelines outlined below.
Please read the requirements and then email your photo(s).

Once you send us your  photo, we will get to work creating a proof for you. You will receive an announcement proof via e-mail within 3 business days for you to approve.  Upon your approval, your order will be processed (printed and shipped).  The average processing time is 2-3 business days plus shipping times. (UPS standard is approx.1-6 days).  We process orders Monday-Friday with the exception of holidays.
By approving your proof you agree that the announcement/invitation has been designed to your satisfaction and will be sent to print.

We take great pride in designing beautiful announcements. Therefore we offer you free photo enhancement with your photo announcement/invite order!

We will enhance your baby/child's photo, if necessary, in the following ways:
Crop
eliminate red-eye
moderate sharpening
fix color balance
softening of skin (including removing blemishes)
lightening
removing unwanted objects from the background (when possible)
color techniques including:
    black&white, sepia, chocolate, porcelain, spot color
    ***You must request any color techniques at the time you upload 
            your photos to us.
PHOTO REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be in JPEG format (most digital cameras are automatically set this way)

2. Must be at least 1200x1800 resolution (set your camera to the highest resolution setting)

3. Must NOT contain any frontal nudity (genitals).  If we receive a file with frontal nudity, we will immediately delete it.  (So cover up those baby privates with a towel or washcloth!!)

4. If you wish to use a professional photo----Professional photos/portraits must be accompanied by the photographer's release.  We WILL NOT infringe on copyright laws of the professional photographer.  You must get a copyright release from the photographer in order for us to use a professional picture.  (call your photographer, if they agree, they will be able to send us a release) Please see our Policy Page for more information.

5.  If you are trying to decide between a couple of different pictures.....send them all!!  We will choose the one we feel will work best.  (Remember you will get a proof to approve)

6.  We do not accept photos by mail.  All photos must be digital photos (files) 

7.  We recommend using a digital camera of 3 megapixels or higher. 

8.  And last but certainly not least, please keep this in mind......a clear and focused picture will produce the best results.  We have done some extensive photo enhancements and are pretty good at it but we are not miracle workers.  If you send us a very blurry or grainy picture, chances are your announcement picture will be blurry or grainy.  Your photo must not have extreme exposure issues.  Some photo flaws are just simply unfixable.  So please make sure your photos are clear and focused on your baby.  If we feel your photo is beyond need of the basic photo enhancement, we will send you an email asking you to submit a different photo.

INCLUDE IN THE EMAIL:
Your name and order number.
Any other requests you have as far as enhancing/editing the photo.
 
We will then email you a proof of your custom announcement within 3 business days for you to approve or request any changes before it is sent to print and ship.
